Karmavore is Moving!

Yes, it's official. We are mooving to a new retail location, and will be opening our new shop on December 1st. It's been a lot of work to get the new shop ready for business, and now we're almost there.

We are closing our original shop in the Sapperton neighbourhood of New Westminster and are moving all of the vegan goodies down Columbia Street to the downtown area of New Westminster. Our new address is: 610 Columbia St. at the corner of 6th. It's a much bigger shop so we'll have even more to offer you.

We will be closed on November 29th and 30th for the move, but will re-open in the new shop on December 1st. Starting today we're having a 20% off of everything sale both in-store and online. If you're shopping online use coupon code Nov20OFF to get your discount!

Thank you everyone for your continued support! This move is happening because of you.

Eyes Wide Open Double Feature

Liberation BC's Film Screening Series has two films coming up
on November 20th.

Lolita, Slave to Entertainment from 1:00-2:00 pm will be followed by Earthlings from 2:15-3:50 pm.

Lolita, Slave to Entertainment is a documentary that follows the life of a 37 year old performing killer whale at the Miami Seaquarium. It raises the question of our relationship to animals in entertainment.

Earthlings documents humankind's economic dependence on animals raised for food, clothing, entertainment, scientific research, and as pets.

This double feature screening is free and will be held at the Vancouver Public Library's downtown branch in the Alma VanDusen Room on the lower level (doors open at 12:30 pm)

If you would like more information, you can contact Liberation BC.
